Our Year 10 Cohort are busy preparing for their upcoming SET Plan Interviews which will take place between a staff member, student and parents/carers on Wednesday 23 August.
The Senior Education and Training (SET) Plan is a key component of Beerwah State High School's Year 10 career education program. It maps out the best pathways for a student to achieve their career goals and success in their QCE studies, post-school training, university education or employment.
In addition to planning their pathways, this interview helps facilitate the timetable for 2024 by ensuring that all Year 10 students select subjects appropriate to their abilities, interests and ambitions.
Making great decisions can be difficult, so the SET Plan process requires each Year 10 student and their parents/carers to meet with a member of the school's leadership team to develop the student's SET Plan.
Bookings can be made via Daymap with information about this process being distributed to parents and carers from 8 August.
We look forward to working together to achieve success for all.
