Beerwah State High School is excited to host the
Coalition Educational Enrichment Program (CEEP). The aim of this program is for students to experience the variety of educational programs offered in high school and to support their transition for 2022. The feedback received from the students, parents and staff involved previously was that the program was a success and met its desired outcomes. Applications open on the school website
18 June 2021.
In 2021, the C.E.E.P. program will host students for two full days,
Friday 20 August and Friday 22 October. Students will spend the whole day at Beerwah State High School, commencing at 8:50am and departing 2:50pm. Students will need to have their own transport to and from school on each of these days, and bring their own lunch. Students will be able to access the Canteen and purchase lunch if they choose to. All course materials and equipment will be provided. We do recommend attendance on both days to get the most out of this opportunity.
Students will choose a single program to follow for the two days, ensuring a deeper, more genuine and enriching learning experience. Sports Development, The Arts, Dance, Design Technology (Industrial or Food Tech), Robotics and Science are the enrichment areas that students are able to nominate.
See the program outline document for more information regarding each course.
Students who wish to apply need to complete an application. Our online application form will be available soon. In the meantime those students wishing to submit an application may do so by contacting the school office with all relevant details. These applications will close on
Friday 6 August. Successful applicants for the programs will be notified by
Friday 13 August,
this information will be sent to the primary schools. Students should nominate a
first and second preference in learning areas when applying.
