The curriculum is structured around a junior secondary school (Year 7, 8 and 9) and a senior secondary school (Year 10, 11 and 12). In the junior secondary phase of learning in years 7, 8 and 9 the curriculum is centred around the Australian Curriculum (ACARA).
The Australian Curriculum is committed to supporting equity of access to the Australian Curriculum for all learners and to developing a curriculum that will equip all young Australians with the essential skills, knowledge and capabilities to thrive and compete in a globalised world. All young Australians includes students with multiple, diverse and changing needs that are shaped by individual learning histories and abilities as well as personal, cultural and language backgrounds and socio-economic factors.
